FREE AI IS NO GOOD FOR PRINT!
Just a heads up for those who use AI to generate flyers, logo etc
Recently allot of customers are coming to me with flyers they have made using AI.
Just a bit of information for you, AI is perfect for generating images for use online as the quality it makes is 96 dpi (Digital Pixels per Inch)
Which is an acceptable standard for online use but, but for printing the quality of artwork typically needs to be 300 dpi which Ai does not generate successfully on any free version that I have come across.
So be careful, as allot of people are quiet happy to take your money and print you something that is less than good print quality.
The main problem is the better the quality of print the more the Bad quality of an image will show.
On the attached image you can clearly see the resolution is far too low for large format print & also in the wrong colour palette for print.
